Calendula Salve

Calendula is known for its' powerful medicinal properties. It is a powerhouse, nutrient rich flower that can be applied directly to wounds to help aid in skin repair. It can also be used on cuts & scrapes. It is naturally antimicrobial and anti-fungal. The calendula in this handmade salve is either grown organically in my own garden or sourced organically when not in season. 

All salves are in amber glass jars to prevent oxidation and damage from light exposure.

Ingredients 

Calendula infused jojoba oil - rich in nutrients to help heal wounds, cuts, and scrapes. Think of this as a natural alternative to an antibiotic ointment! Jojoba oil is incredibly similar to the oil our own skin produces and is noncomedogenic meaning it won't clog pores. 

Beeswax- I source beeswax from a company local to the Midwest. This helps keep the salve solid at room temperature. Enough is added to keep is solid, but still easy spreadable and not clumpy.
